Carla C. Pappas
Carla Pappas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of working experience in the mental health field in private, clinical and school settings. She provides individual psychotherapy and group therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Areas of special interest include working with those struggling with mood, anxiety, social functioning, relationships, ADHD, as well as specific developmental delays. Her approach to individual psychotherapy, and group work integrates compassionate, systematic person-centered counseling in combination with delivery of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques.
She is committed to providing a supportive environment that assist in discovering strengths, resilience and solutions, while using direct and clinically proven CBT strategies specific to each client, and unique to each circumstance. She brings to the practice, knowledge, clinical skill, enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility for the well being and care of individuals and families.
