Kharod France is a licensed clinical professional counselor with particular expertise in working with children, adolescents and young adults. He obtained his master’s degree from Columbia University (Teachers College) and obtained his doctoral degree in Counselor Education from the George Washington University. In addition to working with outpatient clients both individually as well as in groups, he has experience working with adolescents and young adults in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment programs as well as in a University Counseling Center setting. Dr. France embraces an eclectic and collaborative approach to therapy, where working with clients and their families to develop the necessary skills and strategies to overcome life’s challenges is the primary goal.
In addition to providing individual and group psychotherapy, Dr. France also practices as a Clinical Supervisor and offers supervision to psychotherapists – both pre-licensure and post-licensure.
