Will Hayden is a licensed clinical social worker who provides psychotherapy to individuals and families in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Will works with children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and addiction issues.
Will has worked in a variety of settings, including Sibley Memorial Hospital, the Astor Home for Children, community centers, and outdoor adventure programs. Will draws on his experience in inpatient psychiatry, youth and childcare, experiential education, and private practice. He uses his experience to help clients foster healthy behaviors, positive relationships, and emotional growth.
Will is a former American Academy of Psychotherapists Scholar who has taught meditation and mindfulness-based relaxation. Additional trainings include Somatic Experiencing and Certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCSP) Intensive Training Course: Evidence-Based Strategies for Managing ADHD Across the Lifespan. Will was educated at Bard College in New York (BA, Languages and Literature) and Virginia Commonwealth University (MSW).
